Learn MoreThe Wynnewood real estate market is surprisingly large and active. One reason is the variety of property types available to buyers. There are high-rise condos with sizes from efficiencies to 3 bedrooms/3baths and prices from $70k to $300k. There are medium-sized 3 - 4 bedroom single family homes on small lots from $300 - $600k and there are large homes for over $2M. More about Wynnewood Homes and Neighborhoods
Condominiums are located at the Green Hill complex on City Line Avenue, at Wynnewood Plaza on Lancaster Ave, at 1219 W Wynnewood Road and at Red Leaf Villas on Lancaster. The first 3 of these are apartment buildings that were converted to condominiums. Red Leaf Villas are newer units built on the Red Leaf Manor estate in 2011.

Wynnewood is home to St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, Lankenau Hospital and Friends Central School. South Ardmore Park, partially in Wynnewood and partially in Ardmore, has 4 baseball fields, 6 Tennis courts, a basketball court and a playground. I grew up several blocks away, on Sussex Road, and one day, at age 3, having wondered away from our house, was discovered by a neighbor at the top of the big sliding board. Such adventures! It was a great town for families then and still is.
Wynnewood Shopping Center includes a Giant supermarket, a Bed, Bath and Beyond, several restaurants and other small shops. There is a more extensive group of stores in Suburban Square in bordering Ardmore and King of Prussia Mall, 20 minutes away, has about every store you could ever imagine. Specialty shopping, such as for jewelry on jeweler's row, is available in Philadelphia.
