In early 2018 there was an assessment of $10,000 levied on each owner to defray the costs of replacing stucco on these homes with Hardie Board siding, a cement and cellulose product. This construction is ongoing in July of 2018. If deemed necessary, the windows are also being replaced as well. The monthly HOA fee has been increased significantly to address costs of this modification.

There is a lot of green space in this development. One has to travel several hundred yards up Dartmouth Road from the entrance to the development on Street Road, before one sees the first cluster of homes. It feels quite private and peaceful. There is an historic home in the development,visible on the right as one drives up Dartmouth. 

The homes are 2 stories with a full walk-out basement. They are relatively narrow and vertical, a common townhouse design. Kitchens are in the front and there is a deck in back, accessible from the living room. There are no amenities as such, other than the lovely setting. Parking is above average in this development, with more spaces for guests than most developments. It's a 10 minute drive to the shops and restaurants of downtown Newtown Square, a 15 minute drive to West Chester and a 50 minute drive to center city Philadelphia. Ridley Creek State Park is 5 minutes away. Rtes. 3 (West Chester Pike), 1 (Baltimore Pike), 476 (Blue Route) and 202 are accessible nearby. 

Notwithstanding current construction costs mentioned above, these homes are a good value. They are located within the Great Valley School District which is highly ranked.
