Impressions 

The layouts of the units in this development are excellent and set it apart from similarly priced alternatives. One enters into a vestibule that leads directly to the large kitchen, the family room and the low maintenance deck, accessible via sliding doors. Some homes have a first floor master and 2 bedrooms upstairs. Others have 3 bedrooms on the second floor. If there is a fourth bedroom, it is generally in the finished basement. There is also a bathroom on this level making it ideal for an in-law or au pair suite. The high ceilings on all floors are a big plus as is the second floor walkway that looks out over the family room. Interior living space is almost always more than 2000 square feet and ranges up to 3500. There's a 2-car garage and small driveway which could fit 2 additional cars. There is some, but not a lot, of overflow parking for guests.

There is a small shopping center across the street with a few shops and one exceptional restaurant, Fresco, a personal favorite of mine. It's a 3 minute drive to downtown Newtown Square and 11 minutes to downtown Media. Center City Philadelphia is a 35 minute drive. To use public transportation into the city you'd need to drive to Media and take the Media/Elwyn Line. This would take more than an hour. Ridley Creek State Park is 10 minutes drive. 

Given the location and other features above, I'd say the $350k - $550k represents good value. One knock is that there is little tree cover in the development. This is a common problem with new developments.
