This is one of the largest townhome developments in the area and will have more than 300 twins and carriage homes when complete. Building is in full swing in August of 2018 and expected to continue for at least another 2 years. The subdivision is located on Rte. 252 just 2 miles away from downtown Newtown Square. There are a number of floor plans in use for these units. They feature dramatic 2-story entryways, huge kitchens and master suites and high ceilings on all floors including the basement. There is a fair amount of green space between units. Some back up to the surrounding woods. There are also large decks and front porches in most cases and 2 to 3 car attached garages. The attractive building facades are composed of stone and siding. These homes are quite large at up to 5000 square feet.
The development offers an exceptional set of amenities including a pool, a large clubhouse, a gym, tennis ciourts and miles of walking trails. The size of the subdivision means there will be plenty of playmates for children. Marple Newtown is the excellent school district and there are many private schools in the area, including neighboring Episcopal Academy. Considering the amenities here and the location, the $360 monthly homeowners association fee is not bad. It is important to note that exterior maintenance of the buildings is not included in this fee.
It's a 5 minute drive to downtown Newtown Square and 10 minutes to downtown Paoli and the Paoli Train Station. The Keystone Service train, an express, runs once an hours and takes 25 minutes from Paoli to 30th St Station. It's only a couple of minutes drive to the bucolic Chester County countryside with its rolling hills, streams and farmland.
Some homes in the development are close to busy Rte. 252 and there could be some road noise when one is outside. More tree cover would increase the attractiveness of the subdivision. These are high end homes and have a price tag to match, but they nonetheless deliver a lot of value.
