West Mill Creek Park features walking trails, a picnic area and access to beautiful Mill Creek. The park is quite accessible, just 5 minutes from downtown Gladwyne at the corner of Old Gulph and Mill Creek Rds. One of the distinctive features of the park is the right to walk your dog off-leash. Note that you are required to have a leash with you and stay close to your dog. This park and others like it in the area provide easy access to nature and are one reason for the consistently high property values in G
Flat Rock Park, Gladwyne
I took the video, Saturday, November 16th, 2013. It was a lovely Fall day and I took my Sony A65, tripod and Steadicam out to shoot videos of local parks. Flat Rock Park is 24 acres in size and lies along the Schuylkill River, outside of Philadelphia. It features boat access, picnic and barbecue facilities, and walking trails. Spring, Summer or Fall, it's a lovely place to relax and watch the river flow.
