Impressions

This large development, built by Toll Brothers in the 1990s, is located just off Rte. 252 in Berwyn. Though 252 is a busy road, the atmosphere inside Daylesford Lake is quiet and peaceful. The homes in the subdivision feature high ceilings on the first floor, second floor and basement providing a spacious feeling. This is a common feature in homes built by Toll. Some first floor ceilings are vaulted. Basements are large, have a walkout and provide more potential living space. Some units have first floor masters, a few have 3 car garages and some border the lake that the development is named for. The kitchens are not huge but big enough and almost all units have good sized decks. The monthly HOA fee includes use of the community pool and tennis courts. In many units, there are green space views. On the negative side, parking for a party could be a bit of a challenge and it feels in part of the development like a lot of homes have been built in too small of a space.

Rtes. 202, 476, 76 and 276 are nearby providing access to Philadelphia, King of Prussia and other  destinations. The Chester Valley Trail is nearby if hiking or biking is your interest. The development is within Tredyffrin-Easttown School District, one of the best in the state.
