Townhouses at this 12 unit development are large at more than 2000 square feet, 2-3 bedrooms and 3-4 bathrooms. The basements also have significant square footage and can be finished to add more bedrooms, a movie/game room, a bar, etc. One enters the development through a gate that leads to a large paved courtyard from which each home is accessible. The yellow stucco of the townhouses and the red concrete of the courtyard are a lovely combination.
The development is in the Lower Merion School District, one of the finest in the state. The location is ideal for access to shopping and restaurants on nearby City Ave. You are as close as one can be to Philadelphia without actually being in it and can reach center city by car in less than 20 minutes. If you prefer public transportation, Septa buses run downtown from City Ave or you can take the train from Bala or Overbrook Station. You're also very close to an entrance to Rte. 76 (Philadelphia Expressway) which provides access by car to King of Prussia, the Jersey Shore, New York City, Wilmington, Baltimore and other destinations.
Despite proximity to shopping and major roads, this development is on a quiet residential street and feels quite private behind the gate that controls access. Each unit has a 1 car garage with space for a second car in front of the garage door. Additional parking for a party could be difficult to find as there is little parking for guests within the development or on nearby streets.
