The location of this building is perfect if you want or need quick access to Philadelphia. It is very near the City Line Avenue entrance to the Philadelphia Expressway (I-76) and also is close to Kelly Drive. Either of these roads gets you to center city Philadelphia in 15 minutes or less. Though the building is in a densely populated area, it feels peaceful, due to its position well back from the road and up a hill. There is significant shopping at nearby City Line Center and plenty of restaurants in the vicinity as well.
191 Presidential is one of a set of large apartment buildings lining City Line Avenue that 'went condo' in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Other examples are the Green Hill, Sutton Terrace and the Fairmount. Living here can provide a built-in social life, considering the large number of units, 408, and the many amenities the building provides. Residents spoke highly of the staff and the level of service provided. The decor in the building is a bit dated, not surprising considering its age. Many units have been renovated by owners to bring them up to date. In some cases, 2 units have been combined to create a single larger apartment. Fees are fairly high at 191 Presidential, as for other similar buildings along City Line. The units themselves are relatively inexpensive as you can see from the statistics below.
